Mitchell, S.D. — With a focus on scratch cooking, offering a variety of dining options, and making customer service a priority, Dakota Wesleyan University has selected Fresh Ideas as its newly appointed dining service company.
“Dakota Wesleyan is exactly the type of organization that we strive to partner with,” said Jim McDonald, vice president of operations for Fresh Ideas. “Both companies are proponents of innovation and change, for the betterment of the students, faculty and staff.”
Fresh Ideas will begin serving on campus this fall after a summer of renovations to the current facilities in the Rollins Campus Center.
“We are enthusiastic about our new partnership with Fresh Ideas and what they will bring to Dakota Wesleyan – from more fresh produce items to the renovated dining facilities,” said Theresa Kriese, executive vice president at DWU.
Seasoned professionals with extensive backgrounds in all aspects of the hospitality industry will tend to DWU’s menu development, catering needs and food sourcing, all in an effort to create an exceptional experience.
Fresh Ideas will also build a website tailored to DWU dining. This will allow patrons to know what’s on the menu, wherever they are, right from their smartphone.
The Fresh Ideas family lives by values that are the foundation of their programs. They tailor their business for each client and strive to nourish the communities of which they are a part of.
