New Years is full of football, parades, gatherings and food. It’s also a time to reflect on the past year.
Often we get caught up in our day to day lives and looking forward at what still needs to be done that we forget to take time to celebrate our successes. Over the past few years, I have made a list of professional and personal accomplishments and have celebrated them with my work teams, family and friends. It is not only motivating but provides a foundation that allows for bigger thinking, ideas and goals.
What have you achieved this past year? Professionally and personally?
What have your teams accomplished over the past year?
Take time to write down and celebrate your successes with the people that were involved including your family, friends, teams at work, coaches, mentors and teachers.
My Advice for The New Year:
Review the past year.
Celebrate, celebrate, celebrate the successes.
Learn from the things that did not work.
Thank the people that were a part of the successes.
Set goals that build upon your successes.
Start your 2016 Celebration List to review at the end of this year.
